Job Description Summary

Hollings Cancer Center Infusion Unit is based in the Hollings Cancer Center and provides care to our oncology patients throughout South Carolina. We offer specialized oncology care including bone marrow transplants and CAR-T in our outpatient infusion unit. We currently have 42 infusion chairs with opportunities to expand into a phase 1 research trial space and a unique BMT and CAR-T standalone unit in the future.

*$4,000 sign on bonus for OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification through ONS (Oncology Nursing Certification).*

*2,000 sign on bonus for non certified registered nurses*

Job Description

Responsible for the implementation and utilization of information systems required for patient care initiatives. Evaluates applications or vendors to best meet the needs of the organization. Provides technical training and support to end users.

Requirements: Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of three years of applied clinical experience as an RN. Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred. A Masters Degree in Nursing may be substituted for 1 year of required experience. Extensive knowledge of the units patient population, health care trends, community and regional resources and service availability to these populations. An ability to establish comparative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals, medical staff, and other health care disciplines. Current South Carolina licensure as a registered nurse or compact state. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Other certifications may be required to maintain employment for a respective department.
