Meeting Street is currently looking for a Cross-Country Assistant Coach for five (5) hours per week.

Duties:

• Assist in the coordination and supervision of an inclusive Cross Country program and team
• Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Assist in the development and implementation of a training schedule and meet program schedule
• Provide assistance to ensure that the program is properly implemented
• Ensure that all athletic activities conform to program guidelines
• Work effectively with other community and school organizations
• Assist in the development of team rules, communicate them to the players and their parents, and equitably enforce them.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
• Current Rhode Island Coaching Certificate
• Have a valid driver's license, be able to drive, and qualify under the agency's insurance carrier when driving an agency vehicle.
• Holds or is willing to obtain chauffer's license.
• The schedule is: Monday to Friday, 3:30PM to 4:30PM beginning Monday, September 22 to Friday, November 7, 2025
