JOB OVERVIEW
The Food Service Sales Director will be responsible for executing a comprehensive B2B sales strategy, expanding Milk Bar’s presence in food service and wholesale channels. This role will lead inbound and outbound sales efforts, develop key client relationships, and oversee the full sales cycle—from sourcing leads to closing deals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Food Service & Wholesale Sales Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for food service, wholesale, and corporate sales.
Identify and secure partnerships with restaurants, hotels, catering companies, institutional dining services, and major food service providers such as Aramark and Sodexo.
Drive contract negotiations and service agreements with high-volume food service partners to ensure long-term revenue growth.
Grow Milk Bar’s wholesale B2B sales program, expanding partnerships with corporate clients, high-profile brands, and wholesale accounts.
Develop & maintain strong relationships with DOT Foods (redistributor) and major foodservice distributors such as Sysco, US Foods, Vistar to ensure seamless product availability, distribution efficiency & sales growth
Oversee the full sales cycle, including outreach, relationship management, pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, culinary, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize offerings and execution.
Client Relationship Management & Business Development
Manage broker network to ensure alignment on key Milk Bar goals and initiatives.
Manage and evaluate all inbound FS and wholesale opportunities to maximize revenue and long-term partnerships.
Conduct cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and in-person/virtual meetings to generate leads.
Oversee product presentation, fulfillment, and pricing strategies to enhance customer experience and retention.
Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying Milk Bar’s ethos and values in every interaction.
Own long term client relationship management & retention.
Financial & Performance Management
Manage and deliver P&L outcomes for the wholesale channel, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
Set and track sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability for food service and wholesale accounts.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to optimize sales approaches.
Partner with finance to develop pricing strategies that drive profitability while remaining competitive.
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with supply chain and production teams to ensure inventory and fulfillment align with demand.
Provide insights to marketing for promotional campaigns and brand-building efforts in food service channels.
Lead internal reporting on sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of sales experience in food service, corporate sales, or wholesale within CPG, hospitality, or F&B industries.
Proven ability to develop sales strategies, source leads, and close high-value deals.
Experience working with food service distributors, brokers, corporate gifting clients, and wholesale buyers.
Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Fluent in Google Applications, CRMs and Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software as needed.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for building relationships and driving revenue growth.
