The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating delivery schedules, assigning drivers, and ensuring timely and efficient product deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Coordinate delivery schedules with plant production and yard personnel based on truck capacities, distances to delivery sites, and unloading times. + Collaborate with customer service representatives to schedule customer deliveries. + Generate invoices, delivery tickets, and related shipping documents. + Assign drivers for scheduled deliveries of concrete products. + Create reports for cash and charge sales. + Strive to meet customer expectations and achieve positive customer satisfaction survey results. + Work with operations and sales to resolve issues and improve service quality. + Develop relationships with internal customers to address their needs. + Record quantities of sand, cement, gravel, and water for each mix on loading tickets. + Maintain radio contact with drivers to expedite deliveries. + Recommend procedural improvements to enhance customer service. + Adhere to all company and OSHA rules and regulations, wearing proper safety equipment on plant grounds. + Meet or exceed company safety standards. + Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management. Essential Skills + 1+ year of dispatching experience preferred. + 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role. + Experience in high call volume environments. + Scheduling experience is highly preferred. + Strong customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a call center or logistics environment. + Ability to handle inbound calls effectively. + Proficiency in generating reports and documentation. Work Environment The position is based in an office environment with an open floor plan and cubicles. The onsite schedule is from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, which may shift to 9 AM to 5 PM during the busy season. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
