Title: PCB Design Engineer – Contract – Portland, OR (Hybrid)

Summary:

Join a small, innovative engineering team working on cutting-edge hardware projects with real autonomy and impact. We're looking for a mid-to-senior level PCB Design Engineer to take ownership of an existing project and run with it. This is a contract role based in Portland, OR with some initial on-site work to build trust and rhythm with the team. You’ll step into a high-responsibility role that requires minimal oversight and lots of self-direction.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience designing circuit boards and PCBs from concept to completion
• Strong Altium proficiency – schematics, layouts, documentation, and part selection
• Proven ability to independently drive hardware projects, ideally with some product ownership experience
• Able to jump into an existing design and take over with minimal guidance
• Excellent communicator and easy to work with – someone who builds trust quickly
