Overview

Nathan’s Tattoos & Piercings is a longtime staple of the San Fernando Valley for over 25 years, known for high-quality work, inclusivity, and a deep connection to the community. Alongside our growing luxury jewelry line, Nathan’s Jewelry, we’re entering an exciting new chapter focused on refined branding, immersive storytelling, and high-end digital presentation.

This is an hourly position paying $25 per hour.

The Role

We are looking for a creative and strategic Marketing/Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence across all platforms. This is a part-time to full-time position in-person job at the shop in Canoga Park. This role is responsible for growing and evolving both Nathan’s Tattoos & Piercings and Nathan’s Jewelry online, with a focus on high-quality content creation, authentic storytelling, and meaningful community engagement. The Marketing/Social Media Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing our online presence across Instagram, TikTok, email, and more. You’ll lead content creation, strategy and execution, assist with event coordination, and help position both Nathan’s Tattoos & Piercings and Nathan’s Jewelry as visually stunning, culturally relevant, and community-centered brands.

We are looking for a creative thinker with a sharp aesthetic eye, a strong sense of storytelling, and a deep understanding of social media culture and strategy. We want someone who is just as comfortable behind the camera as they are in the editing suite, and knows how to take a piece of content from concept to polished final product. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, stays ahead of trends, and knows how to tailor them to fit a brand’s unique identity and niche. You must be proactive, community-minded, and excited to help shape the voice of a growing brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create content from start to finish. Conception, filming, editing, and posting across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Capture high-quality, on-brand photo and video content in the shop.
  • Stay on top of social media trends and adapt them creatively to fit our niche (tattoos, piercings, and jewelry).
  • Develop and schedule content aligned with events, promos, and launches
  • Attend all major events to film content and assist with production.
  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Support community partnerships and cross-promotions.
  • Help maintain a consistent, elevated brand identity across all channels.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years experience in social media management, digital marketing, or creative strategy.
  • Strong visual eye and editing skills (photo and video).
  • Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Later, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate across a small but passionate team.
  • Comfort being in a tattoo/piercing environment and interacting with artists and clients.
  • A deep love for creativity, culture, and doing things a little differently.
