Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractors that have 16' box trucks with liftgates (does not need to be dock high), in our Dothan, AL market. As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries consisting of office supplies on a multi-stop route in and around the Dothan market. Most routes are approximately 150-300 miles round trip and operate Monday through Friday. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.
Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers: - Pick up freight and deliver to designated locations.
- Follow proper SOPs for all customer deliveries..
- Operate and own a hand-truck to load/unload freight.
- Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
- Maintain required insurance.
- Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
- Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace? - Have your own working vehicle.
- Meet and maintain insurance requirements. $1,000,000 in CGL, $1,000,000 in Auto, and $100,000 in Cargo
- Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
- Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA
- Drivers must be 21 or older.
