Safety Coordinator/Manager (Individual Contributor)

Overview:
We’re looking for a high-energy, growth-minded Safety Coordinator/Manager to lead safety initiatives across our U.S. manufacturing sites. This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports) focused on OSHA compliance, safety training, and hazard prevention on the production floor. Ideal for candidates with strong experience, but who are still growing in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage EHS programs to ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance.
Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and root cause investigations.
Deliver safety training (e.g., OSHA, hazardous materials, emergency response).
Maintain OSHA logs and oversee workers' comp case management.
Support implementation of QMS programs (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820).
Track safety metrics, performance goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance documentation and support audits.
Assist in business continuity and emergency response planning.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or 3 additional years of relevant experience in lieu).
At least 5 years of recent experience as a Safety Coordinator or Manager.
OSHA and Manufacturing experience (production floor) is a must.
Success working with subcontractors/vendors supporting mutual safety objectives.
Experience in writing technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Fluently speak, read, and write English. Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
Estimated Min Rate : $77000.00
Estimated Max Rate : $110000.00
