Job Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on Manager of Security Operations to lead our client’s security team and partner with key stakeholders to maintain and enhance their cybersecurity posture. This leadership role emphasizes strong people management and strategic oversight, while also engaging in technical execution across core areas of security operations. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Manager of Security Operations ’ Responsibilities and Duties :

• Lead and mentor a team of 4 security professionals
• Manage incident response, threat detection, and endpoint protection strategies
• Oversee vulnerability management, threat hunting, and SIEM operations
• Partner with MSSP providers to optimize security monitoring and response
• Maintain and improve Security Management Systems

Manager of Security Operations ’ Qualifications and Skills :

• Proven leadership and team management experience in a security operations environment
• Solid understanding of threat protection, incident response, and endpoint security
• Experience working with SIEM tools and MSSP partners
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC2)
• CISSP certification preferred
• Healthcare industry experience a plus, but not required
