Join a leading General Contractor in the construction industry based out of Rockville, MD. With a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, they are renowned for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

They provide preconstruction services and design/build solutions in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast regions of the United States. Their projects include base build work ranging from $20M - $30M and range from grocery stores, big-box retail, car dealerships, banks, warehouses, office and recreation buildings.

Your new role

• Oversee 2–3 projects at a time
• Project size ranges between $5-40 million.
• Travel overnight to job sites 2–3 times weekly
• Projects across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions
• Manage project scheduling, buyouts and change orders
• Lead cross-functional teams to success
• Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders
• Manage risks and ensure project success
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in managing base build projects upwards of $10 million
• Ability to travel overnight multiple days a week
• Ability to manage your own projects
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience using P6 project management software
