BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time MRI Radiology Technologist (Imaging) for Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital – MRI Dept (Sullivan, MO)

Position Details:

  • Day / Evening Shift: Monday, Thursday & Friday (7am-7:30pm)
  • 3 days per week at 12hrs shifts
  • Full-time (benefits eligible)
  • Extra Weekend & Holiday Pay: Earn top dollar working one of your designated holidays & weekends!!!
    • Holiday Rotation : Rotating holiday call which is from 8am-12pm (4hrs )
    • Weekend Rotation : every 4th weekend
    • Additional Shift Pay Differential $$$ adding more to hourly wage when working Evening Shifts
  • 5% Advanced Modality Differential applicable
  • Work in a State-of-the-Art Facility

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher in related field
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)

Overview

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties.

 

The hospital has enhanced and expanded the health care services available to the greater Sullivan community with its state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multiroom surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 square-foot medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians as well as space for a variety of visiting medical and surgical specialists from the St. Louis area.

 

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital operates four rural health clinics providing quality health care to surrounding communities. In addition, the hospital operates a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department and an award-winning Wound Care Center with two hyperbaric chambers.

 

Radiology offers Board-certified radiologists, registered radiology technicians and sophisticated diagnostic equipment to provide an array of services including: X-ray, bone density, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI and CT. These noninvasive diagnostic techniques create quality images of most organs in the body that can lead to the early detection of many conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
