Full Job Description:

The Cleveland Browns are seeking a seasonal intern to assist in the team's daily radio, podcast and video content production and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in show, pre-show and post-show production of Cleveland Browns Daily
• Assist in show, pre-show and post-show production of Browns podcasts
• Record and edit press conferences
• Record and edit interviews for CBD, radio network and podcast
• Help manage Browns Daily and Browns Radio social media accounts
  • Posting pictures, video and audio from the shows
  • Helping to clip Browns Daily and Browns Radio Network content for social media
• Cover practice as needed
• Upload practice sound and gameday highlights and audio to Browns radio affiliate site
• Engineering and producing remotes for Browns Daily and for Radio Network Remotes
  • Including running the board and being the in-studio producer for all road game pregame shows
• Assist in coming up with content ideas for corporate partnerships
• Help with gathering airchecks
• Write live read and commercial copy
• Monitor other team websites for radio/podcast ideas
• Put together videos for social and digital purposes; create shorts from radio and podcast content
• Assist in larger video projects and shoots as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• BA, Broadcast Journalism or Electronic Media (or related field) - Preferred
• 1-2 years of professional production experience
• Experience using Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro
• Fundamental understanding of entire show/podcast production process (pre-production, recording, post-production)

Desired Skills:

• Audio editing
• Basic engineering and troubleshooting on Comrex and basic remote equipment
• Basic video editing and knowledge of cameras
• Graphic Design
• Storytelling
• Time/deadline management
• Communication
• Previous work in sports or in student media is a plus
• Knowledge of a TriCaster also a plus
